Pirates existed all throughout history, and even some exist right now. Although piracy is not as much of a big problem as it was thousands of years ago. At the golden age of piracy, pirates roamed the seas wherever they wanted. They stole from merchant ships, and tried to get as rich as possible. Although they did not always try to kill people, since they were only after the riches. The start of the Golden Age of Piracy happened when Queen Elizabeth agreed to release some of England's best sailors to sea as privateers, whom captured from other ships. But soon, the privateers converted to pirates and war broke out on the seas. |
